The pov in Povaddo stands for point of view.

We are pleased to share the following points of view for studies we have conducted for public release.

Survey of Public Attitudes Throughout Europe
January 2024

Povaddo’s survey of general population adults across 13 EU member states + Ukraine reveals that discontent is widespread, and European citizens agree that setting uniform rules, regulations, and tax rates across all member states can lead to unforeseen, negative consequences. Furthermore, on the issue of smoking, illicit trade is seen as an unintended consequence of extreme tax increases that must be taken into account. Most respondents say their country has a problem with illicit trade of tobacco and nicotine products, but the size of lost tax revenue is vastly underestimated by the general public.

The Rise of the Fifth Estate
December 2023

Amidst a rapidly evolving media landscape, Povaddo surveyed general population adults across six countries to illuminate opinions of the Fifth Estate (nontraditional media sources, independent commentators, social media, etc.). Two-thirds of adults personally get news and information from the Fifth Estate, and a majority of these individuals (55%) say Fifth Estate sources are more accessible and easier to use than traditional media sources. Despite its popularity, nearly six-in-ten (59%) say there is a significant risk of spreading misinformation, and 53% say there is a significant risk of opinion without evidence, from Fifth Estate sources.

Giving Your Workforce a Voice
July 2018

In 2018, Salesforce.org commissioned Povaddo to explore the role that employee volunteerism and corporate giving play in helping companies attract and retain the best employees. Povaddo surveyed employees from America’s largest companies to obtain their perspectives on important societal issues and to learn what employees expect of their companies and CEOs in this burgeoning era of corporate activism. While a strong majority of employees want opportunities to make an impact at work, most companies appear to be playing catch-up – both in terms of providing these opportunities and the types of tools that are made available.

Corporate America’s POV
June 2017

Sensing a growing tide of social activism within corporate America, in 2017 Povaddo surveyed employees of Fortune 1000 companies throughout the United States to better understand their perceptions and expectations of their employers and corporate America as a whole. A majority of employees within corporate America believe companies need to play a more active role in addressing important societal issues, including equal opportunity in the workplace, healthcare reform, and renewable energy.
